Frequently Asked Questions about OPS

Answers to the most common questions about Open Public Service SRL, PromoGrid and our services.

Open Public Service SRL (OPS) is a Romanian company founded in 1996, headquartered in Bucharest. It has been operating continuously for 30 years in direct marketing, e-commerce, commercial promotions and fulfilment. OPS is the founding company of the PromoGrid ecosystem.

PromoGrid is the operational standard created by and owned by Open Public Service SRL. It was born from 30 years of promotional campaigns operated — over 1,800 real projects — and represents the distilled code of OPS's experience. OPS operates PromoGrid Standard through promogrid.ro and offers PromoGrid Advisors consulting through advisors-promogrid.com.

OPS operates three main service directions: (1) Full Support for Online Commerce — complete logistics for e-commerce; (2) Full Support for Commercial Promotions — full operation of commercial promotions; (3) PromoGrid Operation & Support — operational consulting through PromoGrid Advisors, including ISCR EXTINS.

PromoGrid Standard is the operational framework for commercial promotions available through promogrid.ro. It covers the entire promotion lifecycle: design, validation, operation, participant support, prize management, financial reconciliation and final reporting. It is not software — it is an execution standard based on 30 years of real practice.

ISCR EXTINS (Retail Customer Sentiment Index) is a proprietary research tool of PromoGrid Advisors, available at advisors-promogrid.com/iscr. It measures customer satisfaction in retail contexts, independently of active promotional campaigns, providing a continuous sentiment index that allows temporal and cross-category comparisons.

PromoGrid Advisors is OPS's consulting practice, available at advisors-promogrid.com. It is aimed at organisations that operate commercial promotions internally but need risk auditing, operational stabilisation or continuous monitoring. Services include Stability Audit, Risk DNA Scan, PromoGrid Trunk Implementation and Continuous Stability Control.

Yes. OPS manages complete fulfilment for e-commerce: warehousing and stock management, parcel packaging and customisation, nationwide shipping, integration with e-commerce platforms: Shopify, WordPress/WooCommerce, GoMag, MerchantPro, eMAG, EasySales, customer support and financial reconciliation. The historical average is 36,000 parcels shipped per month.

OPS has operated over 1,800 promotional campaigns in 30 years, including complex multi-channel sweepstakes, contests, cashback, instant win and prize draws. It has worked with clients from diverse sectors — FMCG, retail, banking, pharma, oil — including Nestlé Romania, BRD, MOL Romania, Vodafone Romania and Microsoft Romania.

You can contact Open Public Service SRL by email at [email protected] or through the contact form at ops.ro/en/contact.html. Responses to initial enquiries are typically made within 24–48 business hours.

OPS has demonstrated experience in FMCG and food, retail and distribution, banking and financial services, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, oil and energy, telecommunications, publishing and e-commerce. The portfolio includes clients such as Nestlé, BRD, MOL, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Unicredit, Vodafone and BASF.

OPS's main activity is in the Romanian market. Through PromoGrid Advisors, there is international consulting capacity, particularly for promotions covering multiple markets. The PromoGrid ecosystem has a European presence through advisors-promogrid.com.

PromoGrid (promogrid.ro) is the operational standard used by OPS for the direct operation of clients' commercial promotions. PromoGrid Advisors (advisors-promogrid.com) is the consulting practice for organisations that operate their own promotions internally, offering auditing, stabilisation and monitoring, without taking over the actual operation.

In the PromoGrid Trunk Implementation model, the PromoGrid Advisors field consultant works directly with the client's internal team to implement the PromoGrid operational standard. Their role is knowledge transfer, compliance verification with the standard and adjustment of existing processes to PromoGrid requirements.

The duration varies depending on the complexity of the promotion and the client's operational maturity. A typical PromoGrid Trunk implementation for a medium-complexity promotion takes between 4 and 10 weeks. Stability Audit and Risk DNA Scan audits can be completed in 5–10 business days.

ISCR EXTINS differs from classic satisfaction studies in several ways: (1) it is continuous, not one-off — allowing sentiment to be tracked over time; (2) it is independent of active promotional campaigns, eliminating temporary distortions; (3) it uses the proprietary PromoGrid Advisors methodology, calibrated to the specific context of Romanian retail; (4) it offers comparable indices across product categories and time periods.
